The add-on provides capability to: - Scan documents directly within Alfresco folder using web browser. - Supports most TWAIN compatible scanners. - Scan documents as Grey-scale/ B&W / Color TIFF or PDF file. - Auto-feeder support for Multi-page scanning. - Preview scanned images during scanning. - Rotate, Flip, Reorder or Delete Scanned pages before saving as TIFF / PDF. - Add Metadata to scanned documents before saving in Alfresco repository. Future upgrades: - Embed Scanner Controls within the Alfresco user interface. - Add OCR capability to save as text PDF.
Alfresco Extension which accesses a new feature called \"Enterprise Search\", allowing users to Search across a Sensefy instance. Sensefy is a Zaizi product for federated search over different platforms and repositories, currently supporting Alfresco and File systems for the whole public.
This add-on let's you manage system announcements as plain text files in the Data Dictionary, then it displays those announcements on the Alfresco Share login page. Old announcements can be kept in an archive folder--those will be ignored by the announcements RESTful endpoint. The add-on also includes an \"Announcements\" dashlet that displays the same set of announcements shown on the login page to unauthenticated users in a dashlet on authenticated user dashboards.
This code gives Alfresco Share the ability to play videos from the document preview page. It supports any mimetype that is typically supported by a Flash player (e.g., flv, mp4, mov). This add-on gives you the ability to restrict Alfresco Share site creation to a specific group of users. Users not in the group will not see a \"Create Site\" link in: The header Sites dropdown menu The My Sites dashlet The \"welcome\" dashlet In addition, for users not in the group, the \"welcome\" dashlet's text changes to explain what a Share site is but does not imply that they have the ability to create one. A nice enhancement might be a link that launches a workflow to request a new site. (Pull requests welcome!) By default, the group the module looks for must have an ID of \"GROUP_SITE_CREATORS\".
