Allows administrators to configure metadata extraction rules through a dedicated Alfresco Share site — no coding required.

  • Go to the Metadata Extraction Information site → Data Lists → Extractor Mapping Datalist
  • Define rules per document type: select property, extraction method (coordinates or regex), and the area to extract from
  • Extracted values are automatically mapped to Alfresco content model properties
  • Currently supports text-based PDFs only
